Meet the Team

Modern Transactions is a transaction coordination firm led by Stephen and Victoria Grider. The Griders are natural-born entrepreneurs. Stephen was raised to value the traits of managing multiple projects and ventures at once. Even from childhood, Victoria had intuition and the ability to sense and understand a person’s needs–a skill she has utilized and tapped into to begin the undertaking of transaction coordination. Together, they have explored careers in sales, healthcare (counseling in particular), consulting, real estate, and administration.

Stephen’s business acumen has been instrumental in transforming a modest transaction coordinating venture into a successful enterprise. He excels in operational management and plays a pivotal role in implementing optimal processes to bolster the support provided to our partnering agents. Holding an MBA and possessing a background in business administration, Stephen blends academic insight with practical expertise. Stephen can often be spotted playing soccer with his friends and engaging in friendly competition in the fantasy soccer premier league. Victoria Grider, Co-Founder

Victoria is a Florida native who balances professional excellence with personal passion. She was originally a real estate assistant and elevated her career by becoming a licensed REALTORⓇ and because of her passion for helping others, founding a transaction coordinating business. Her vast knowledge and experience in counseling, management, and administration empower her to partner with agents and her team, ensuring seamless transactions and closings. Victoria loves a competitive game of pick-up basketball in her free time and spending quality moments at the beach with her husband and their two children.

Shannon Jones, Transaction Coordinator

A proud Charleston native and graduate of Northside Christian School, Shannon has a deep appreciation for the vibrant community and the people who call it home. Beyond real estate, Shannon is a passionate advocate for local causes, including animal rescue efforts and youth sports. Serving as Vice President of the Charleston Wrestling Club, Shannon is dedicated to supporting the growth and development of young athletes.

With over 5,000 successful closings, Shannon’s true passion lies in real estate. Specializing in empowering agents, Shannon ensures they can deliver exceptional service to their clients. From contract to close, Shannon takes care of the details, providing smooth, efficient, and stress-free transaction experiences, allowing agents to focus on building relationships and growing their businesses.

Marques was born and raised in Lancaster, SC. Before attending the South Carolina School of Real Estate, he has excelled in sales and customer service for over 20 years. His ability to connect with people and provide exceptional service has always been at the core of everything he does.

From hosting weddings throughout South Carolina to taking school portraits for Lifetouch, Marques has always had a passion for helping others create lasting memories. Through these experiences, he has become accustomed to high-pressure situations, staying organized and focused no matter the challenges. He brings that same ability into real estate, ensuring that every transaction runs smoothly and efficiently.

Now in his ninth year as a licensed REALTORⓇ, Marques has developed extensive expertise in transaction coordination and real estate. He specializes in managing the behind-the-scenes details that keep real estate deals on track. From preparing contracts and tracking deadlines to coordinating with lenders, attorneys, and inspectors, he ensures that every step of the process is handled with precision and professionalism. A Florida native, Jasmyn loves spending time at the beach and in her free time you can find her crocheting and reading a good mystery novel.

Gayathri balances professional expertise with personal passions, staying motivated and energized. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and family. Gayathri enjoys engaging in creative activities such as crafting and artwork, as well as unwinding with movies.
